115 Answers. SOURCE: What is location of #2 cylinder on 2002 Jaguar X. The number 2 cylinder is in front of the car on the passenger side closest to the oil cap. The cylinders on the firewall side are the odd number, front of the car even number starting from the passenger side to drivers. Rear are 1,3,5 and front cylinders are 2,4,6.
Hi have you got a spark if not points should be set at 16 thousand of inch feeler gauge will have no marked on them it that is o k check the condenser if all them are ok are the plugs wet if not then you have a fuel problem check the pump for power if no power use a small battery to check the pump, near the battery in the car there is a small unit that has a little cap on it underneath the cap I have a Jaguar X Type 2003 reg 2.1 V6 Petrol. Couple of extra points to be wary of when checking for quiescent battery drain in the X Type, as advised by Jaguar.
